Mini sudoku 6×6 (easy)

The 6×6 board uses the digits 1 to 6, placed once each in every row, every column and every 2-row × 3-column block. It sits neatly between the 4×4 grid and the full 9×9 puzzle: wide enough to need genuine scanning, small enough to finish in a few minutes.

Easy mode gives you a generous set of starting digits, so most cells can be resolved by asking what a row or block is still missing. It suits primary-school children who have outgrown 4×4, and adults coming back to sudoku after a long break who want to warm up before tackling a 9×9.
